Typically, there are 4 divisions: 18U, 16U, 14U, and 12U divisions.
18U = Class of 2023 & 2024
16U = Class of 2025 & 2026
14U = 8th & 7th Graders
12U = 6th & 5th Graders
However, AVP/USA and p1440 sanctioned events go by birth date so please look at the age eligibility below:
18 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or before June 31, 2006*
or
Players who were born on or after June 1, 2004 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade
16 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006*
14 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008*
12 and Under Division:
Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010*
*AAU goes by September 1 instead of July 1.
